Safety Taken Seriously

Equipment operated under strict CPA conditions

The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) sets the standard for health and safety in the UK construction and plant-hire industry.

ABA Cranes operates under basic CPA and contract CPA lifting conditions. Our equipment and operation also meets all British and European Standards, including:

  • BS7121– Safe Use of Cranes
  • Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER)
  • Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

Fully accredited team

The ABA team has SMAS/SSIP, SafeContractor, and Constructionline Gold accreditations. Everyone we employ is proud to work together as a team with the clear understanding that health and safety is the number one priority.

All of our staff hold industry recognised qualifications and as importantly have a high level of practical knowledge to enable even the most challenging projects to be carried out in a safe controlled manner.

We work hard to create a positive working environment where health and safety is taken seriously, and all the essentials are ticked off and double-checked.

Comprehensive risk assessment & inspection

ABA Cranes risk assessments are fully operational. We constantly inspect the site, our equipment, those working at the forefront, and all other factors to make sure work is carried out safely and to the highest possible standards.

By keeping a close eye on the work we do and the conditions we work in, we can be confident we’re looking out for our team, protecting the equipment, and staying safe on-site.

A proactive approach to health & safety

Instead of just meeting basic legal requirements, ABA Crane Hire exceeds them. We take a proactive approach to the environment and conditions we work in, the equipment we operate, and the team we work with.

This means complete compliance throughout every job, as well as higher quality service for our customers and clients.
